“Physically inventive, blending the stretched lines of ballet with the weighted qualities and downward accents of modern dance, and the agility of hip-hop… - the New York Times

Expect buffoonery, slapstick, sleight of hand and a dose of sweet seriousness.

Exploring fire, water, air and earth, "Elements" is a full-length production with eight dancers that fuses concert dance, camp and cabaret into a wondrous concoction that inspires, entertains and tickles the funny bone.  In "Elements" we travel through fun and inventive spa scenes, splashy burlesque routines, feel the sizzling theatricality of vaudeville, and laugh at light-headed flight attendants with great costumes and a long play-list of vocalists and composers, who range from Patsy Cline and Devo to Mozart and Debussy. The four dance suites are enthusiastically eclectic, fun, artistic, and mesmerizing.

Larry Keigwin is a fast rising star in the dance world, famous for his pop sensibilities, unflinching showmanship and an uncanny sense of humor. Founded in 2003, KEIGWIN + COMPANY creates a refreshing vision of dance that embodies a theatrical sensibility of wit, style, and heart.   An annual favorite at the Joyce Theater, K+C has appeared at Jacob’s Pillow Dance Festival, The John F. Kennedy Center, New York City Center, the American Dance Festival, and many more across the nation.

Following the performance, Larry Keigwin and the dancers will hold a post-concert talk back about the show.
